Partnering for financial security and wealth
A one-stop business advisory and financial planning firm works closely with its clients to deliver the best outcomes.
Creating a financially secure future doesn’t happen by magic. While there’s merit in the time-honoured idea of ‘‘work hard and save’’, to really build wealth you need expert advice.
Forty-something years ago, Theo Kotselas knew he wanted to help people achieve their financial dreams. Raised by hardworking migrant parents, who instilled in him the ethos to always do your best and help others, he started Archangel Wealth.
The business is described as a boutique accounting, business advisory and financial services company. Director and group CEO Kotselas says “we provide practical solutions to our clients’ matters”.
“We do the lot,” he says. “We’ve got the one-stop shop. You come in, we talk to you, we ascertain your situation, we ask you what your dreams and aspirations are and then we personalise and tailor our suite of professional services to make them happen.”
Whether you’re a regular wage earner wanting to start planning for the purchase of your first home, a retiree working out how best to bequeath your wealth, a start-up or an established business with an eight-figure turnover; whatever your financial situation and needs, Archangel Wealth can assist.
“Our services are for everyone, not just one class of people,’’ says Kotselas.
‘‘No one is too small for us to provide the options that are available to help them improve their financial position and increase their wealth,” he says.
From those humble beginnings, Kotselas has grown the business by building “lifelong partnerships” with his clients through a foundation of trust and reliability.
“All the growth that we’ve achieved over the years is mainly through referrals from our existing clients and professional partners.’’
Along the way, business partners Anthony Abood and Sam Kontogiorgis have come on board, as have a team of professional accountants and advisers.
‘‘Our clients and our team are our central focus,’’ says Abood. ‘‘Our personable and experienced executive team are always readily available to answer our clients’ correspondence and provide the relevant advice.
“That’s been a big part of our business success, in terms of solidifying our reputation for supporting our clients and providing that full suite of advisory solutions.’’
Those services include accounting and taxation assistance, financial planning, superannuation advice, virtual CFO services, business structuring and advisory including cash-flow management and forecasting, and business and personal funding.
“People always say, ‘Wow, we didn’t know that you offer all these services; please give us a proposal to assist us’! So, we end up providing multiple services whilst determining the clients goals and objectives.
‘‘We say, ‘OK, now we have identified your needs, we will introduce you to our advisory team who specialise in building and protecting your wealth’.’’
Abood says that Archangel Wealth supports people along every step of their financial journey. “We are our clients’ trusted adviser, here to guide them through the different stages of their journey.”
Kotselas agrees: “We believe that a true financial adviser builds lifelong partnerships.”
